Brooklyn Crossing Nears Completion At 18 Sixth Avenue In Prospect Heights
With construction nearly complete at Brooklyn Crossing, The Brodsky Organization prepares to launch leasing at the 858-unit residential tower. The property is located at 18 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Heights and stands 51 stories above ground.
Designed by Perkins Eastman, the 532-foot-tall structure comprises approximately 740,00 square feet. The façade incorporates a dark glass curtain wall with vertical metal fins and a gray brick podium.
Lemay + Escobar has designed the interior spaces including the main lobby, the apartments, the building’s outdoor terrace, and the amenity spaces. Those amenities include a fitness center, a screening room, and the “Sky Lounge,” which boasts an outdoor pool with 360-degree views of the Manhattan skyline and as far south as Rockaway Beach.
As previously reported by YIMBY, over 250 apartments will be reserved for affordable housing. Leasing will officially launch in January 2022.
